Steer Roast

Steer Roast is a weekend gathering of Senior House residents, friends, and alumni which has been held annually since 1963. Events include the ceremonial lighting of the barbeque pit, two nights of live music, the festive meal, the awards ceremony, and more.

Since the shutdown of Senior House, Steer Roast has been held at various venues in and around Cambridge.

The Head Veeps this year are undergrads Leviticus Norman and Maggie Lin, supported by Alum Veep Emeritus elliott seaman. They can be contacted at headveeps24@mit.edu with any questions, suggestions, and offers to help with the various parts that make up Roast: bands, food, art, security, bartending etc.
